Dan Savage’s New Threat To Rick Santorum 

If Rick Santorum runs for President on an anti-gay platform, Dan Savage will have no choice but to redefine his first name now, too.

Here’s a new video I directed and co-wrote for Funny or Die with Dan Savage.

This was a special video for me. I’ve loved Dan’s work for a really long time, and can remember reading his column back before I was even openly gay, so it was incredibly exciting to now get to work alongside him. Thanks to everyone who helped make this video happen, including our amazing producer Ally Hord and editors Dave Patton and Pat Bishop.

And thank you to all the special guests who made an appearance in the video, too!

This is just too perfect. He also coins the phrase “man on dogging us” in reference to the tactic commonly used by conservatives of saying “Well if gays can marry, then what next? People will want to marry their dogs?”

I love Dan Savage to the end of the earth and back.

Personally, (and DEFINITELY BECAUSE MY NAME DOESN’T HAVE “RICK” IN IT) I hope the idiot does follow his natural urges and attack those different from him. Mr. Santorum (and I use the word Mister lightly here) is a mean-spirited, bigoted individual who has found a way to gain money and power from the fearful in our society… he deserves the worst that can happen… don’t hate it just cause it’s different… find a better reason.
